Explore clay.

Kristin holds regular handbuilding workshops in her home amongst the trees in North Warrandyte, Victoria.

This is a creative and nourishing space to connect with yourself, community and nature.

Over the three hour workshop, Kristin shares her knowledge on clay, connection and creativity.

Each person is invited to make five to eight handbuilt pieces, whilst experiencing:

  • A gentle, open space to shift away from the thinking mind and into creative expression;

  • Time to connect with yourself, as well as meet others through shared experience;

  • Nature-connection through the clay, water, fire and outdoor setting;

  • Guided reflection, play and storytelling.

A healthy homemade grazing board is provided, along with an outdoor fire (weather permitting), from which the wood ash will be collected and used to glaze the pieces made on the day.

Private workshops are available for groups with a minimum of 7 people.

Kristin also offers 90 minute 1:1 wheel and handbuilding lessons from her home studio.

"Kristin’s hand building workshop was an incredibly enriching morning. Her focus on mindful play meant we could get lost in exploring the practice and the material, without pressure or expectations. Kristin’s warm nature made everyone feel so comfortable and I really appreciated her musings on creativity and knowledge of ceramics, including her stories on sourcing her own clay. Kristin held the space beautifully and encouraged everyone’s own approach genuinely. I didn’t want it to end and I can’t wait for the next one!"
